Welcome to Kentucky. The Bluegrass state has had a slight shift in its political power structure lately as Ernie Fletcher, the fastest pardon in the West, has been deposed from his throne in Frankfort and lowered back down to the level of the common man. To quote a campaign ad of our Governor-Elect from a previous election year over a decade in the past, he sure got "be-Sheared" on this one.
So where does this Blog come in, hmm? Well, it seems that there are certain people out there who want to know what I really think about politics. The problem is, most of these people are extreme liberals who really don't want to hear my line of thinking. It's not because I'm a Bushie or that I have some extreme right views. The fact of the matter is that I refuse to vote Republican or Democrat simply due to a part line (although I am registered as a member of the GOP more due to familial affiliations than political belief). I have this strange, horrible desire to vote for candidates that support my personal views instead of allowing the candidate to dictate to me what views I should espouse.
